Bought this for my 9 yr old son 
for back to school
2015/2016 it's only been a week or two but still looks brand new
, his friends love it as much as he does, plenty of room 
for those dang five star
zip up binders
that hold folders
etc with the three rungs in them PLUS holds his lunchbox 
(wish they'd have had a matching lunchbox 
for their bookbags
) and all lots of room for his random things he sticks in there. Not so huge that it's too big either. Perfect for kids in elementary 
and Highschool 
as there is plenty of room 
and straps 
adjust larger without hanging down 
way low when at the tightest setting. Highly recommended. I'd buy 
again
